About
I am a passionate textile engineer and educator with a strong foundation in textile technology. My journey has been defined by curiosity and a desire to create meaningful impacts. My research interest centers on driving eco-conscious textile choices that do not compromise on functionality. I aim to explore the intersection of functional textiles, human behavior, and data-driven decision making to create sustainable solutions for the textile and apparel industry.
With hands-on industry experience in merchandising and marketing, I gained valuable insights into the fast-paced world of fashion and consumer preferences. Beyond academics, I actively participated in business case competitions, presented at conferences, and pursued skills in Excel, and Python. I continue to expand my knowledge, currently enhancing my data visualization capabilities.
Now, I aim to deepen my expertise by pursuing graduate studies in CADS, focusing on cutting-edge research in consumer behavior and sustainability. I am excited about opportunities that allow me to merge my technical background, teaching experience, and research aspirations to make a lasting impact in the industry.
